Dr. Rick Smith


	Rick holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
	Rick is passionate about introducing GIS into any work environment and furthering the democratization of mapping. He has taught GIS at the university level for over 4 years and has also provided training at professional workshops and meetings. Rick has presented at numerous local, national and international conferences.
	Rick has over ten years of experience in designing and implementing GIS applications and projects. Rick is the co-founder and owner of Athena GIS, LLC.
	Rick instructs the following courses: Introduction to GIS - Short Course Practical GIS Knowledge (TBPLS approved 8 hour CEU course) Fundamentals of Surveying (designed for SIT exam preparation)

Dr. Stacey D. Lyle, RPLS


	Stacey is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas and a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Georgia.
	In addition to land surveying, he has experience in geodetic, hydrographic, and photogrammetric surveying. He has performed extensive hydrographic surveying and mapping of the Gulf of Mexico, including working for Fugro Chance (Wimpol) and Texas A&M’s National Science Foundation Ocean Drilling Program. He has worked at Leica Geosystems as a GPS and Phototgrammetry Specialist and Director of Machine Automation.
	Stacey instructs the following courses: Registered Professional Land Surveying Practice - Ethics (TBPLS approved 4 hour CEU course #691) Fundamentals of Surveying (designed for SIT exam preparation)
